Iced Brown Sugar Matcha Latte

This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy matcha. It’s sweet and creamy, yet still has that classic hint of tea from the matcha.

This brown sugar matcha latte is a must-try if you enjoy matcha and want to branch out. The earthy nuances of matcha are combined with the sweet, caramelly flavor of brown sugar and condensed milk in this delicious variation on the traditional latte.

Ingredients

  • Matcha: A high-quality ceremonial matcha is always recommended for the best tasting and visually pleasing experience. A good matcha powder will naturally be a vibrant green with a smooth grassy and sweet flavor.
  • Milk: You can use any milk of your choice as long as it froths up well.
  • Brown Sugar, Condensed Milk: These 2 Ingredients add sweetness and richness to this yummy latte.

Directions

  1. Combine matcha and hot water using a matcha whisk or a hand-held frother. Set aside.
  2. In a separate cup add milk, brown sugar, and condensed milk. Mix with frother until combined and foamy.
  3. Add ice to a mug or glass and add the milk mixture.
  4. Top off with the matcha and taste. You can add more sugar or water to adjust to your taste.
  5. Immediately drink or serve and enjoy!

  • 1 tsp Matcha Powder
  • 2 oz Hot Water
  • 2.5 oz Milk of Choice
  • 2 tsp Brown Sugar I prefer dark brown sugar for this recipe but light brown will work as well.
  • 1 tbsp Condensed Milk
  • Ice
