I have never been much of a Starbucks girl, but the few times I did stop by back in college I would always get their passion tea lemonade. During the pandemic, I craved this drink out of blue and was delighted to find that I had all the ingredients and that it was a pretty simple process.
What you’ll need
- Tazo Passion Tea – While I used the packets, you can also buy this tea ready-made in a bottle.
- Hot Water – This is for steeping, so if you decide to use bottled passion tea skip this.
- Lemonade – You can use any kind of tea you prefer. I love using Gustare’s Italian Pink Lemonade for mine.
- Ice!
This is a very simple drink which makes it all the better save some bucks & whip up yourself!
Passion Tea Lemonade
This quick and cool refresher is a copycat of a popular Starbucks drink. Save a few bucks and whip this up at home! You really just can't go wrong with lemonade!
Ingredients
- 4 oz Hot Water Water should enough to steep tea
- 1 packet Tazo Passion Tea
- 4 oz Lemonade Any lemonade can be used, I prefer a sparkling pink lemonade.
- Ice
- Lemon Slice Optional
Instructions
- Start by steeping your tea for 5 minutes. One packet can make a few cups of the Passion Tea Lemonade, so adjust the water as needed.
- Add ice to cup, and put the tea over to chill.
- Top up the rest of the cup with your lemonade and that's it!
- You can add dry or fresh lemon slices for garnish.
